• Spirit Day: Nerd Day is Friday, April 26.

For parents of Little River middle grades students, we have placed the 

math placement guide on our school website in the ‘Quicklinks’ tab on 

the front of our website for school year 2019-2020.

Hello to the week Little River School Community!

We are continuing to count down toward our Leadership Day in May. 

Talk with your child about the 7 Habits! You can follow our countdown 

on our website.

FIELD DAY on Wednesday, April 17^th. Some of the stations will include 

some water getting the students a little wet so sending a change of clothes 

might be a good idea.

Remember there will no school on Thursday and Friday of this week.

Family Art Night is this Thursday, March 21!

Spring Break is Monday March 25 through Friday

March 29. School will resume on Monday April 1st.

The PTO will meet on Monday, April 8. Part of the

agenda will be upcoming Board elections for next

Hello to the week Little River School Community!

Congratulations to our Battle of the Books and Science

Olympiad teams on your recent competitions. Speaking

of academic competitions, our Little River Beavers will

compete Saturday, March 9 representing Little River in

the regional Spelling Bee.

Here are some items happening this week:

The School Improvement-Leadership Team and PTO

will meet on Monday, March 4.

Our Black History Month assembly will take place this

Thursday March 7. Students will be treated to a musical

history of African-American culture through a performance

by Pierce Freelon’s The Beast, a musical group.

There are two big PTO events this week: The PTO Spring

Book Fair begins this week and continues through March 14.

Additionally, the PTO Quarter Auction takes place this

Saturday, March 9.

Don’t forget that Thursday, March 7 is also school picture
